| Hi!! First let me take the time to introduce myself, my name is Maggie, and im newly engaged  I still cant believe that my boyfriend, (sorry Fiance`) proposed!!! My finace` is Trent  We have been together now for 4 years this october. I guess i can go on with all the gooy love stuff but my mind is swirling with what colours to pick for our wedding to what perfume i should wear! The only decision we have made though is we are having a surprise wedding in the winter of 2012. Its all so very very exciting! So we have around 14 months to plan a wedding, in secret... i think ive just pushed stress levels up tenfold!!! So now i wonder, when should i go looking for the dress? | WHAT A DAY!!!! Well actually what a week!! We booked our secret ceremony!!! We booked our celebrant as well!!! And today Trent and i went to the Wedding expo at the digger at the Entrance!! Talk about information overload!! We met alot of lovely people and our son sampled some cakes and decided white choc mud was the best lol Oh and best of all so far i found my dream dress... completely by accident and it was on special for only $150!!!! Completely stoked with that!!! Everything is coming together... but i really think a trial honeymoon right now would be awesome... somewhere tropical lol Ciao for now Trent and Maggie |

| Afternoon lovelies!!! Hope everyone is having a really great day!! Tonight Trent and i have an appointment with a decorationg company to pick our sashes and colours etc etc... We still arent sure what to pick but im certain with the actually colours in front of us it will be so much easier. Its harder to pick when you see pictures sometimes, they look completely different in real life. Im so excited but still its hard cause i cant talk to my family and friends about our plans cause of the secret ceremony, im certain it will all be worth it in the end though, cant wait to see their faces!!! The two things causing me stress the most are invitations and the cake... Can anyone recommend anyone??? Ciao for now Maggie and Trent |

| Well we when to ANOTHER expo on sunday out at the 16 footers. Was nice, but after a while it all looks the same lol. We did also book our photographer too!!! :-D So now we have our venue booked, celebrant booked, dress, veil, and headpeice on layby, shoes are brought!! and our photographer is booked too...(New Image Photography, if you want to have a look) We are finding that cake and invites are being the pain atm. Around 3 or 4 cake places take their holidays in the weeks of july and ARE CLOSED WHEN WE NEED THEM!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! No doubt we will find someone, i will let you know who when we find them lol Hope all you brides and grooms to be have a wonderful week!!! Ciao for now Maggie and Trent |

| Hello Lovely People!!!! Wasnt it awesome to see the sunshine today!!!! Next sunday we have a meeting with a cake lady!!! Affordable-wedding-cakes.com Cant wait to taste all the flavours!! And she delivers, which is a huge weight off our shoulders, its one less thing we have to worry about on the day!! Just the invites to get then its all basically done!! My bridesmaids are all going to be in the same colour but whatever styles and lengths they want. A trip to Shazzams at toronto is in our there i think, pretty soon too. Just to get an idea. | Wow what a weekend!!!!!! Hope everyone is safe and well!!! Trent and i had our meeting with our cake lady... AWESOME!!!! 2 tier, one white choc mud, one butterscotch mud!!! Amazing!!!! And she is a lovely lovely lady too!!!! Then just by chance, we drove past the new invtation place in Newcastle, the write invite.... We have picked out our invtiations too!!!! And so resonably priced!!!! Only thing im stressing about is if i will fit in my dress when the time comes around!!! I love planning our wedding with my fiance, and because of the surprise factor i only really get to talk to him about it, its awesome for us, we are bonding even more!!! | Hey its been full month since my last blog!! Everything seem to have quieted down a bit on the wedding planning front.. other that booking invites its all done!! Im stuck on flowers.. I cant justify spending 600 plus on flowers that will die within a week. Ive been tossing between lollie/chocolate bouquets or fake flowers.. I really had my heart set on tulips for me but it just seems a bit too hard.. to me roses are done to death... grrr i just dunno.... Anybody have any ideas??? Also the search for a videographer is still on.... I hope everyones plans are running smoothly!!! Much love Maggie and Trent |

| Hey guys, have you contacted any of the videographers in the Hunter Bride directory: http://www.hunterbride.com.au/directory/wedding-video.html I can personally vouch for xsight (they did my own wedding, my uncles wedding and now about to do our close friends wedding in October). Depends on budget and what type of 'look' you want to achieve from your video, as you can have a basic video of the day or the more expensive videographers do more editing, effects, etc. |

| What a beautiful day!!!! Heres a question.. im having some second thoughts with my bridesmaids... they arent showing any interest in getting together, one has turned her nose up at my dress.. they dont like the colours my fiance and i have considered.. What should i do?? I dont want to lose friends but its hard to get excited about one of the best days of my life when the is alot of negativity and i cant eben talk them about the wedding plans.... |

| Hi Maggie, I noticed on a post earlier you were worried about the cost of flowers... Could I suggest simple posy's of tulips for your bouquets? Yours could be a bit larger and the bridesmaids have just a few tulips tied with ribbon. Trent and groomsmen could then have a simple tulip buttonhole. They come in so many colours (cream and peach are gorgeous) and can be used closed or slightly open for a more natural look. See a pic here |

| Hi Teagan!! First of all THANKYOU for the colour board!!! I would have NEVER NEVER NEVER have even contemplated peach as a colour!!! It has opened up all new ideas for me now!! Poor Trent is copping a lot of "what do you think of thins, and what about that... lol As for flowers, the search is still on, one florist has told me im looking at at least $4 PER tulip... I have met a lady that does stunning false flowers.. Im considering white roses for the girls and tulips for me.. she said they come in a latex which is life like to touch and i dont have to worry about them dropping either!! | How are all you lovely brides to be?!?!? I have been floored with a bad virus but nothing a few cups of tea and bridal mags didnt fix oh and some strong antibiotics lol My MOH and i met and confirmed with our decorator the change from silver to the champagne colour.. which it turms out to be alot softer then gold.. its actually called Latte.. and its GORGOUS!!! Then we went to bunnings and brought 4 mirror tiles for $19 for the centre peices to sit on and they are perfect!! not to big and not to small!!!! Less than 12 months to the big day!! Getting very excited and we have so much more in the works as well!!! Much love Ciao , Maggie |

| Our invites are all booked and paid for!!!! :-D They are stunning!!!! We got them from the write invite in newcastle, near all the bridal shops... great price and stunning!!! But another dilemma!!! What to have printed on the invites?? Do go tradtional? Do we try to be clever with a little verse? After all the invites have to indicate that its for an engagement party not a wedding.. hence the surprise lol Does anyone know of a good website that has wording to choose from?? Less than 11 months to go!! Its coming around so quickly!!!! Hope everyones plans are coming along beautifully!!! Ciao Maggie |

| Hi Brides to be!!!! Hope every one is enjoying this gorgous weather!!!! Its all very exciting, recently i was asked to be a bridesmaid for a dear friend!!!! Our weddings are only 100 days apart or so, which is good but its hard cause i want to throw around ideas too but i cant lol Ive never been a bridesmaid before, i loved trying on all the dresses  In other news, im waiting ever so patiently to see some photos of some fake flowers im considering...
