| Hi Hunter Brides, Have you seen the 2012 'colour of the year'? It is the vibrant Tangerine Tango. It is a perfect feature colour to team with ivory, chocolate browns, gold and even other bright colours like pink and aqua. Try a 'graduating' colour scheme by using different shades of tangerine and orange for impact. | Hi Susie! Thank you for your post. Here are some recommendations from the Hunter Bride community on Facebook: - Coast to coast goldern roast!! Excellent food and great service!!! - Relish Catering. They have a shop in the junction & do outside catering  - Sprout has amazing food! I tried their canapes at the Tomago House bridal fair and they were yummy - I highly recommend jacqui from sprout. The loveliest lady and the most incredible food! - Depz catering Hope that Helps! |

| I am after recommendations for catering in the Maitland/Hunter Valley area for our wedding. Also if there are no ovens/cool room on site do i have to hire these or do caterers supply this? Thanks for your help! |

| Hi Juliebean201, sorry for the delay in reply, wedding season is hectic! Have you browsed the photographers on Hunter Bride? Here is s link to the directory: http://www.hunterbride.com.au/directory/wedding-photography.html We have personally worked with a number of these photographers and highly recommend their work. Best advice is to have a few send through their packages so you can set your budget before going to consultations. As for wedding rings most local jewellers stock wedding rings in a large range of styles and prices. But some like Whitakers Jewellers in Newcastle also custom design and make, Hope this has given you a big of information to kick-start your planning. | Congratulations, Tanya. You are right. Sometimes it is just fate. My fiance and me plan to be wed in June of 2013. I myself just got engaged. We are currently working on choosing the right date, with June of course being the busiest month of the year. It's going to be hard to decide. Oh, and believe me. I also am planning a budget wedding. Did you set a date yet? |

| Hi Brides to be!!!! Hope every one is enjoying this gorgous weather!!!! Its all very exciting, recently i was asked to be a bridesmaid for a dear friend!!!! Our weddings are only 100 days apart or so, which is good but its hard cause i want to throw around ideas too but i cant lol Ive never been a bridesmaid before, i loved trying on all the dresses In other news, im waiting ever so patiently to see some photos of some fake flowers im considering... | Our invites are all booked and paid for!!!! :-D They are stunning!!!! We got them from the write invite in newcastle, near all the bridal shops... great price and stunning!!! But another dilemma!!! What to have printed on the invites?? Do go tradtional? Do we try to be clever with a little verse? After all the invites have to indicate that its for an engagement party not a wedding.. hence the surprise lol Does anyone know of a good website that has wording to choose from?? | How are all you lovely brides to be?!?!? I have been floored with a bad virus but nothing a few cups of tea and bridal mags didnt fix oh and some strong antibiotics lol My MOH and i met and confirmed with our decorator the change from silver to the champagne colour.. which it turms out to be alot softer then gold.. its actually called Latte.. and its GORGOUS!!! Then we went to bunnings and brought 4 mirror tiles for $19 for the centre peices to sit on and they are perfect!! not to big and not to small!!!! Less than 12 months to the big day!! Getting very excited and we have so much more in the works as well!!! Much love Ciao , Maggie |

| Hi Teagan!! First of all THANKYOU for the colour board!!! I would have NEVER NEVER NEVER have even contemplated peach as a colour!!! It has opened up all new ideas for me now!! Poor Trent is copping a lot of "what do you think of thins, and what about that... lol As for flowers, the search is still on, one florist has told me im looking at at least $4 PER tulip... I have met a lady that does stunning false flowers.. Im considering white roses for the girls and tulips for me.. she said they come in a latex which is life like to touch and i dont have to worry about them dropping either!! She is getting stick in the next few months so i guess i will wait and see if they are any good!! Again Teagan.. THANKYOU SO VERY VERY VERY MUCH!!!! Mag |

| Hi Maggie - I have done a quick board up for you. I haven't included table settings, etc as I don't know what your plans are. But I think the main thing is not to go overboard on any particular colour, just use them to complement each other. | Hi Maggie, I noticed on a post earlier you were worried about the cost of flowers... Could I suggest simple posy's of tulips for your bouquets? Yours could be a bit larger and the bridesmaids have just a few tulips tied with ribbon. Trent and groomsmen could then have a simple tulip buttonhole. They come in so many colours (cream and peach are gorgeous) and can be used closed or slightly open for a more natural look. See a pic here |

| What a beautiful day!!!! Heres a question.. im having some second thoughts with my bridesmaids... they arent showing any interest in getting together, one has turned her nose up at my dress.. they dont like the colours my fiance and i have considered.. What should i do?? I dont want to lose friends but its hard to get excited about one of the best days of my life when the is alot of negativity and i cant eben talk them about the wedding plans.... |
